CZ-OPENSCREEN is a state-of-the-art infrastructure for chemical biology and genetics offering open access to potential users.

Our mission is to identify new molecular probes and to develop new tools for research of chemical compounds - candidates for the development of new potential therapeutics.

We offer to our users: cooperation in assay development, high-throughput screening, data validation, chemical compound optimization and cheminformatic support. We operate the National compound collection.

Last week (November 28th - 29th, 2019) our first DRIVE training course took place at the Institute of Molecular Genetics, AS CR, v. v. i., EU-OS Partner site in Prague. The course was dedicated to compound logistics and led by Martin Popr and Ctibor Škuta from CZ-OPENSCREEN (National infrastructure for chemical biology). The course was intended mainly for staff in charge of compound management from EU-OS and prospective EU-OS Partner sites. The attendees came from EU-OS Partner sites in Germany, Poland, Spain and Norway and from Hungary, which is a prospective EU-OS country. According their feedbacks, the course was useful for them and everybody enjoyed it. This course will be organized again in November 2020. We are looking forward to it.
